Die Planeten - anaglyph

Two pictures are calculated to render an "Anaglyph-View": one for the left and one for the right eye. Wearing Anaglyph glasses, your eyes see a different picture for every eye.

The brain composes a threedimensional image from the two pictures. The planetsphere seems to "pop out" of the screen. It takes a few minutes until the eye gets used to the 3D impression. The background lighting should not be to bright. It workes best with a dimmed artificial lightsource (no daylight). Also, one must not sit to close to the screen. A distance of 4 to 5 feet is ideal.
